Hey guys! still deciding if I wanna start Galen in October 2020 or January 2021. Anyone has any idea how admissions go with corona?

I hope we get in! A&P kicked my butt so my GPA isn’t too hot either. I’m riding on the hope that the cut off GPA will be lower for Spring because of COVID. Maybe the conditions the hospitals are in will weed out people in nursing for the wrong reasons. Hopefully less people apply, less competition haha ?

Yes you can! The deadline for Spring 2021 is in early August and that’s when Summer semester ends! I’m doing classes that end at the end of July just so I have enough time to do my application ?

Hello! I took A&P I and II, as well as Microbiology cold. I took it with only high school biology from 5 years ago on my back. It is hard but it can be done. I took A&P I and Microbiology together along with the lab and other classes, and A&P II over Summer. Got a B in A&P I and Micro (an A in both labs), and a A in A&P II and the lab. In the beginning of the course they briefly go over basic chem and bio (obviously suspecting that its just review), study that like crazy, otherwise you'll be lost all semester. In the end you're still saving money by not taking those extra classes and you only need to learn a few fundamental topics from each.

Hey Guys! I've seen forums for Fall 2020 but none for Spring 2021 even though the deadline is coming up in a couple of months! I thought I'd set a forum up to ask questions and help each other out! I haven't even taken my TEAS yet because everything is closed but anyway! Overall GPA- 3.7 Pre-req GPA- 3.4 TEAS -N/A
