2019 Fall Enrollment for Nursing (Hillsborough Community College)

Hi!

I wanted to start a board for the fall enrollments for 2019 for the Nursing Program! I have been on other boards for previous HCC entries and find it super helpful and encouraging to hear from others experience as well as overcoming challenges in the process. I plan to apply for the fall class for the nursing program at HCC! I take the TEAS this Monday, fingers crossed all goes well. I look forward to hearing from future classmates! Please, feel free to share and ask questions!

I created that Facebook, and yes it’s true it happened to me . I had to take college algebra 3 times and applied with a 3.3 than a 3.5 I thought I had. I then had to retake a higher math MAC2233 and now reapply with a 3.57

Hello Everyone!

I am also applying for the fall of 2019 and I am super nervous !!! ?

I am from Brazil and I came to the USA 5 years ago so I don't know what to expect. My GPA is 3.7 but the Teas test was really hard for me... I got a 65.

I wanted to know if anyone here knows the schedule for the first semester, I am working as it right now and I wanted to work and do nursing classes at the same time, like a part time or something like that.

Hello!

I am also applying for fall, I hope to apply with a 3.7 once I ace these finals, but in case I dont I would apply with a 3.5 at worst. I had a Teas score of a 67 on my first try. Since we only needed a 60 or above I just went for it without preparation lol. Hopefully we all get in. -future male nurse

Hello, All,

I’m really excited to be at this point! I completed all prereqs Fall of 18, and passed my TEAS. Submitted my application almost two weeks ago. Now just waiting for the deadline, and to hear back. I chose the Dale Mabry campus for the evening/weekend schedule. I work full time and can only attend then. My background is Social Work and healthcare, and have worked with many nurses in the past. My mother and husband are nurses as well, and I can’t wait to join them! Good luck to all! ?

Hey Cecibel, what did you include in the packet? and did you just put everything in one of those big envelopes?

hey edgar i called the nursing dept and had this exact question, they said to wait until grades post which should be prior to the deadline. they also said hcc made the deadline a bit after grades post so that we had time to apply in time.

Anyone know what the class and clinical schedule might look like for Dale Mabry Daytime?

@yrosabal I used a big evenlope and included the following:

- the application

- the print out of my TEAS score that was provided by the school the day I took it

- reciéntame provided to me for the application fee

And

- a self addressed postcard with the stamp
