Reading this reminds me of how I would / still sometimes react before an exam. Maybe one day I will be more confident in my test taking skills because it really it such a terrible feeling. Although I have a year left in nursing school, I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Random fact, my birthday was on 2.24 & I had my first peds exam(didn't do great on it- out of all the exams I have taken so far, that was by far the lowest score). Fast forward to today, it encourage me to read your post & Of course, my test does to compare to an NCLEX exam. Happy for you, celebrating your accomplishment & rooting for you. All my doc's are officially reflecting received with the exeption of my HCC transcripts, it's under waived since I took my classes at the campus. I didn't have to send it in with my packet. Anyone else?

Teas and GPA will stay under review until the admin office checks your full application. No worries there. Here the email from the admin office --- Thank you for your interest in HCC’s Health Sciences Programs. When we begin to process applications your WebAdvisor will show "ASAP" or "Not Received" in the Status Column and sometimes and “UNDER REVIEW” message below those documents that are in progress. They will remain open until they have been completely evaluated by the Health Sciences Admissions team. We understand that you are concerned and would like to know if your application and supporting documents have been received, if they are complete, or there is something else you might need to send. If you completed all the prerequisite course and sent your application, all the documents, and transcripts required following the application checklist to ensure that you complete all the admission requirements, you should be okay. Keep in mind that all communications, especially the official status notification for admission to a limited access Health Sciences Program will only be sent to the students HCC Hawkmail after the evaluation period. No communications are sent to Canvas or personal email. The evaluation period for the May 15 deadline can take 6 weeks or less after the deadline date. The evaluation period is subject to change depending on the undetermined number of applications received by the program deadline. We strongly recommend applicants to make sure they have an active HCC Hawkmail (not Canvas) account and to check frequently HCC Hawkmailaccount after submitting their application packet until an admission status notification is received. The status notification email will include time-sensitive information and if responses are not received by the deadline given, students will jeopardize their opportunity for a seat in the program.

Hey Guys, Long post ahead! I submitted my application on 4.22.19 and... Finally, my documents reflect that most of the documents are received. Just for peace of mind for future readers, below is a breakdown of what to expect after you submit your packet. Check your web advisor but keep in mind, you will not hear back within a day. (I submitted my application on 4.22.19, on 5.7.19 all but two documents showed as received) Once you log into your web advisor look under the communication column you will see the option to click on My Documents.If the documents are not showing up, that means your applications has not been reviewed at all. (Keep Calm, and post here till you hear back!)If your documents are showing up, all of the documents that the admin office has received are listed.In addition, you will see the following verbiage on the top of the box: Description l Status l Status Date l Due Date l Requesting OfficeLook under the Status and make sure it reflects that the document is received.Reach out to the Health Science Admin department by email, [email protected], if you realize that a document is missing but was submitted with the nursing packet. The teas score and my prerequisites are showing up as not received but I am certain both are completed. Just in case, I reached out to verify if this is the case, awaiting a response. When I get an email back, I will update this post. I believe it will stay 'UNDER REVIEW' til after 5.15.19. Side note: Couple of helpful tips I learned during this process by reaching out to HCC. If you are a current/active student with the school and taking classes or complete your prerequisites with HCC, you do not have to submit your transcripts. If you already provided your High School diploma, GED diploma, and GED scores previously, the admin department does not require you to resubmit it. (Please, make sure to call and verify that they do have those documents on file before assuming they do.)If you took the teas test at HCC, they will have a copy on file. (I did, however, still submit my scores since I was given a copy the day I finished my teas test)

Technically you can apply since you completed the course before the deadline. If you're waiting for it to post, it will not change your eligibility since it was completed prior to the ap deadline. Side note: don't make the same mistake I did-- make sure to add a self-addressed envelope, if you want the admission dept to let you know if they have received your application. ?
