2019 Fall Enrollment for Nursing (Hillsborough Community College)

Published

Hi!

I wanted to start a board for the fall enrollments for 2019 for the Nursing Program! I have been on other boards for previous HCC entries and find it super helpful and encouraging to hear from others experience as well as overcoming challenges in the process. I plan to apply for the fall class for the nursing program at HCC! I take the TEAS this Monday, fingers crossed all goes well. I look forward to hearing from future classmates! Please, feel free to share and ask questions!

hey sammy, i will try to do the usf concurrent program. i believe we have to first get accepted to hcc nursing to then apply for usf.

I'm thinking of doing the concurrent program. Hopefully I'll get SouthShore Campus.

Hi Christie,

When I turned in my application I also included a self addressed envelope with a stamp and I have received it back in the mail showing my application was received. Did you include one as well? I don't think we will hear anything regarding our applications until after the deadline.

Well, that explains it. Nope, I honestly didn't think about it since I dropped it off at the school. I guess, I'll have to wait. Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.

Hey Christie , I submitted my application April 1, and it just now showed up in my documents on web advisor today.

Hey!

I completely, compared to other forums I have seen in the past the traffic for this semester is pretty light. Maybe this fall class will be smaller? Did you finish the teas yet?

I did! I actually did it over a year ago and ended up with a 72. This is my second time applying. I didn’t get in the first time. I took calculus and got an A to over rule my C in college algebra. That way I would have a higher gpa this time around.

3.6 is what the Dale Mabry Campus advisor told me

I followed all of the groups and Facebook pages and students who didn’t get in told me 3.381

Shan, if you took the TEAS a year ago, do you have to retake for this application? I think they expire at the end of each year??

Hello Debra,

The Teas scores are valid for 2 years (based on the info on the teas website). However, make sure you have the update version because HCC does not accept the precious version which is, TEAS V.

I got a 72 as well. I did not study much, but all is well, I passed it. How long did it take for the health sciences admissions dept to get back to you the last time you applied? I havent heard anything or seen any updates on web advisor.

Hope you get in this time!!

This application process takes forever , let’s share stats and what location and schedule you prefer.

3.5 gpa

66 teas

dale mabry nights/weekend

I got a 66 on the TEAS and a 3.7 gpa.

I haven’t applied yet because I am still waiting on 2 grades from micro and micro lab that I took this spring. Should I apply even thou they ddnt upload my grade yet? Or should I wait until next week?

Dale Mabry night weekends

3.57

teas 67

Stephanie, they put the deadline for May 15 to allow the grades to post for this semester . So I would just wait and drop it off once they post
