Hi!
I wanted to start a board for the fall enrollments for 2019 for the Nursing Program! I have been on other boards for previous HCC entries and find it super helpful and encouraging to hear from others experience as well as overcoming challenges in the process. I plan to apply for the fall class for the nursing program at HCC! I take the TEAS this Monday, fingers crossed all goes well. I look forward to hearing from future classmates! Please, feel free to share and ask questions!

When I turned in my application I also included a self addressed envelope with a stamp and I have received it back in the mail showing my application was received. Did you include one as well? I don't think we will hear anything regarding our applications until after the deadline.
Well, that explains it. Nope, I honestly didn't think about it since I dropped it off at the school. I guess, I'll have to wait. Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.

I completely, compared to other forums I have seen in the past the traffic for this semester is pretty light. Maybe this fall class will be smaller? Did you finish the teas yet?
I did! I actually did it over a year ago and ended up with a 72. This is my second time applying. I didn’t get in the first time. I took calculus and got an A to over rule my C in college algebra. That way I would have a higher gpa this time around.

Hello Debra,
The Teas scores are valid for 2 years (based on the info on the teas website). However, make sure you have the update version because HCC does not accept the precious version which is, TEAS V.

I got a 72 as well. I did not study much, but all is well, I passed it. How long did it take for the health sciences admissions dept to get back to you the last time you applied? I havent heard anything or seen any updates on web advisor.
Hope you get in this time!!

I'm thinking of doing the concurrent program. Hopefully I'll get SouthShore Campus.
