Failing a&p 1 I really need help. I need notes, online lectures

Published

I'm now failing a&p. Ive asked for help and Im asking again.

I need some study suggestions, like great websites with awesome study guides and lecture notes on anatomy and physiology 1.

My instructor isnt great and so I need notes, lectures anything to help me pass this class.

I need some honest study techniques. If I dont make a B on this next test its over for me.

The next test is over Muscle system, Neural Tissue, and Spinal Cord.

Everything we get tested on comes directly from our lectures which come directly from the book. Have you read your chapters and answered the questions at the end of the chapters?

Best study technique I'd have is go through your book, make notes as you go. Do the end of chapter questions and if you get them wrong (answers in back, generally), then go over that section again.

Just using a google search, I found this site that might be helpful to you:

http://www.iteachbio.com/Anatomy-Physiology/anat-phys.html

The Muscle and Nervous system section are what you would be looking at.

I would say though that if I looked in my book and the major sections, it is the same stuff as in my book.

Someone had this on AN and I wish I could remember who. I am usually really good at remembering....not today. This is fun and challenging . really ticked me off at times because I ahve forgetten some of the remote stuff over the years.

This is a real hoot...but it will teach you the anatomy at least.

http://www.khanacademy.org has a lot of good videos on muscle physiology. Good luck. :)

when I was taking A&P II, the exams were ridiculously hard and a lot of students got a horrible grade for the first exam. the professor suggested that we form study groups with three people max, where one of the students did well on the exam and everyone's grades will improve and he was right. by the end of the semester, I got an A-

study groups i found are the best way for me to study in addition to a whole ton of self studying by reading the chapters, the professor's notes and answering the questions at the end of each chapter.

good luck!
