Just took my boards Friday for the second time and I failed. Both times I got 265 questions. I felt really good about it this time. I still think I answered the questions well, but they were probably questions below passing standard. I'm pretty bummed out. I hate to tell work again, I don't know what will happen.
I am calling a private tutor that a few girls from school used. Hopefully things will work out.

I am sorry to hear that. I am STILL waiting on my result. I retested also and got 265 again. I am not sure what to tell you because I felt good about my test the 2nd time also. I think it takes figuring out where you went wrong and focusing on that. YOU are meant to be a NURSE so don't give up.

Sorry to hear that Dear...take some rest and then begin the climb again. You know it, you can do it. Don't let this make you think negatively hun.
Well I'm doing a lot better today. I plan on following Suzanne's plan instead of using a tutor, she didn't recommend that. My boss is wonderful. I can't do any nursing jobs now, so she's giving me a patient care tech (kind of like a cna) job, and holding my RN position until I pass boards. I'm thrilled! I plan on passing for sure next time, 3rd time is a charm, right? I hope Suzanne's method works for me! Here's to studying!

what were you studying? I mean for the second time? You were doing something other than suzannes plan?
I was using the Nsna's review book and cd, and just that. The first time I took the Drexel course. Apparently neither of them worked. I just ordered the Saunders book and plan on following that as Suzanne suggests.
ok was just wondering cause Suzannes plan is what I am doing. started it end of feb with book and am scheduled to take the test June 5th.
So what happens after you finish the book? I don't have the plan yet, just the first step I got off the sticky.

Hi!
You will start doing 100 Q's every day using the CD and aim to have completed 4500+ Q's by the time you test - did I get it right?
I have been doing Q's since beginning of April, in a very obsessive-compulsive-ritualistic-way...hehe
and I can see steady improvement in how I am interpreting/ analysing the situations presenting.
Buuuut....There is always another drug - I have not even heard of, but after five weeks I am in the upper 80% and feel I have it somehow under control. My problem is, I am not testing until June!!!! By that time I should be completely brainwashed? Just do it Suzanne's way - if I can, you can.
