Emory Fall 2015 Applicants

So the application for the Fall 2015 BSN traditional/ ABSN/MSN has just opened up. I thought it may be nice to start a thread so any of the applicants can check on each others processes and get to know one another..

When did you submit your application?

I submitted my application on October 22nd so it sounds like I was just in the first round of applications they reviewed!

Yeah I submitted mine November 21st so maybe the first batch hears back by January 15th. But it says on the site that every application that is submitted by December 1st will hear back by Jan. 15th. I guess maybe they are a little behind.

Hi everyone! Hopefully I'm not the only one who has started to obsessively check opus...

Question though, for registering/doing the CSS/PROFILE thing, which one do we fill out? The Fall 2015/Spring 2016 or the Fall 2014/Spring 2015 (this is for ABSN+MSN)? I'm confused since I was under the impression that ABSN+MSN started in the Summer of 2015. Thanks!

I've started checking OPUS too but I think they will e-mail you when the decisions are ready. Wait are we supposed to do financial aid already?

You should apply to FAFSA ASAP. I got an email from Emory about registering for CSS using PROFILE to get need based aid, but you don't have to do it until March 1st I think.

It could be that I got the email because I already did a FAFSA, which probably showed Emory that I'm really poor, so that's why they sent it to me lol

Oooh okay. Haha don't worry I mean no matter what even if you're well off this program is still going to cost a lot.

Has anyone heard anything yet? I didn't get an e-mail yet. Also, is anyone checking OPUS and see that their admission fee is still pending?

I haven't gotten any emails/calls. I don't have anything online about a payment- although I did my payment through NCAS. The only thing that's changed is that it has my financial aid info on there now.
