Emory Fall 2015 Applicants

So the application for the Fall 2015 BSN traditional/ ABSN/MSN has just opened up. I thought it may be nice to start a thread so any of the applicants can check on each others processes and get to know one another..

i'm doing it thru nursingCAS so it opened up a bit later.

Regarding those scholarship essays we were sent, I read the requirements and I wanted to get everyone's opinion, if possible, on whether or not I should apply with a GRE score of 309 when they list 310 as the requirement. I meet all the other criteria but I'm worried they will be angry if I apply being technically below the minimum requirement. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I think you're totally fine! It doesn't say the criteria they listed WERE REQUIRED. I think were giving you an idea of the people who were more likely going to be accepted.

Is Emory an affirmative action School? Not good for me in that case

I'm actually not sure about that. You should ask them! I know a lot of schools in California aren't affirmative action.

I got an email today saying the first round of acceptances would be released around January 15!
