So the application for the Fall 2015 BSN traditional/ ABSN/MSN has just opened up. I thought it may be nice to start a thread so any of the applicants can check on each others processes and get to know one another..

Just officially turned down my spot, and the scholarship. I hope this opens up a spot for someone else and the scholarship helps someone attend Emory. The staff and faculty are one of the most friendly, and if obtaining a position in socal wasn't my goal, I would not have turned down this great school.

Hi everyone! I applied for the ABSN program and was waitlisted a few months ago. does anyone know when we might expect to hear back about being waitlisted or if they are reviewing wait list candidates yet?

I got into the ABSN program! Does anyone know anything about their need-based financial aid? I was told by an employee that Emory only gives up to 3,000 for need-based aid, but I've read that they're typically generous (through the threads). Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Don't believe what they tell you. Their need based aid is laughable at best. I had an EFC of 0 and still got very little. Ended up going with a different program. Felt bad for the girls who only applied to Emory and were stuck! Do your research, do not just listen to their sales pitch.

Did anybody on here attend Emory undergrad?
I graduated with a BS from Emory a few years ago and am applying for ABSN fall 2017. An admissions advisor just told me that, because I have a degree from Emory already, as long as I have an overall GPA above 3.0 and science/math GPA above 2.8, I'm automatically admitted to the program.
Does anybody have any experience with this? Seems too good to be true..
They have guaranteed admittance for Emory students, yes it is true.
Do you have experience with this?
I haven't been able to find that information online so I'm trying to get some confirmation while I wait for admissions to email me back
They only recently enacted the policy. It was listed on the website back when I was accepted.
