Emory Fall 2015 Applicants

So the application for the Fall 2015 BSN traditional/ ABSN/MSN has just opened up. I thought it may be nice to start a thread so any of the applicants can check on each others processes and get to know one another..

Has anyone heard anything? I am so anxious!

@zoikers, I did my payment thru CAS so it went through and shows. On my OPUS account it has my in progress classes, financial aid forms, even though I sent an unofficial transcript for my fall grades. I'll be taking general chem II in spring.

btw, i'm an ABSN applicant so for the clinical fellowship, how am I supposed to address specialty?

Has anyone who's applied to the FNP and already has their BSN gotten an email to set up a time for an interview? I just got one, but I didn't realize they were doing interviews!

Hey y'all! I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything from the ABSN/MSN program admissions directors regarding what time decisions will be released or if we will be expected to do any interviews? I'm just getting so antsy! Good luck everyone!

I'm ABSN MSN and I haven't heard anything. I was under the impression we don't do interviews. I also was told we would find out by 1/15. If anyone hears of when they will actually be posted let us know!!

Yeah, that's what I thought too, I just can't help but think that we would have to do interviews if there were a lot of applicants to a particular specialty. Guess we will know tomorrow...:banghead:

Is OPUS crashed for anyone else? I can't get it to load/open.. Google chrome just keeps popping up with "This website is not available"..?

Hello! I'm currently at Emory in the ABSN/MSN program. I remember being in your shoes freaking out last year so I decided to post on here to see if anyone had any particular questions. I would love to be a resource for anyone. I know that this process is difficult and very stressful!

Hey so I just checked OPUS and my admission fee isn't pending anymore so maybe that means they looked at my application? I have no idea! I didn't know there were interviews either I thought there wasn't for ABSN/MSN? Congrats jns1md on your interview invite!

Hey thanks fjjones! When did you find out about your acceptance? Was it thru email/OPUS/snail mail/phone call? Also what specialty are you? And did you have an interview? Did anyone in ABSN/MSN have one?

i am worried that now I'm out of the running since I didn't upload a Test Score Report to NCAS when I submitted... I didn't do it cause Emory has my official GRE scores already... Ugh. Fingers crossed for all of us.

Yes, crazy stressful...

I'm wondering what the transition was like for you. Do you feel like the switch from undergrad went pretty smoothly or did you feel like you were drowning for awhile? Also, what's your specialty? I would ask you about housing, but I'm not sure if I'm going to need that answer :nailbiting:

OPUS is working for me right now. Not that it has an answer for me or anything...I'm going to have no fingernails by the time I get a decision.
