Emory Fall 2015 Applicants

So the application for the Fall 2015 BSN traditional/ ABSN/MSN has just opened up. I thought it may be nice to start a thread so any of the applicants can check on each others processes and get to know one another..

I need sedation. I keep having racing thoughts.. "Is that grade going to kill me?" "Does that sentence in my essay make sense?" Ahhhh. One tiny word got deleted out of my essay and that in combination with the test score report thing has me worried :banghead: :no:

opus is working for me too... i submitted towards end of december.

at first i thought priority date for ABSN applicants was 1/15! or else i would have submitted sooner.

@ fjjones. do you know if it would be ok whether i take Gen Chem II spring? also, am i disadvantaged since i applied at the end of dec?also why choose ABSN/MSN route? Why not obtain ABSN and work first?

I stalked the threads for last year and all of them just found out a decision for ABSN/MSN and didn't have interviews so I'm assuming maybe not? Unless they're changing it this year or some reason or another.

Also I think this was brought up before but it only says this under the BSN FAQs:

Is an interview required for admission into the BSN program?

Interviews are not required for admission to the BSN program. However, the Admission Committee may request an interview if special circumstances exist.

This is driving me crazy!! I hope we all find out soon!!! 1.5 hours till the 15th!! I don;t know if it will display decisions at 12 or mayber later on in the day!

i think ABSN/MSN and ABSN and second degree BSN are different because when i checked back ages ago, I didn't see just an ABSN program, but only ABSN/MSN program.

also i think the deadline for ABSN/MSN is 12/1 and for ABSN is 1/15..

Sorry I brought up the interview possibility, I just got a little freaked when jns1md posted about scheduling an interview, even though he/she applied for BSN only. My B! Fingers crossed that we all find out very soon!

Yeah and u get updates too! I'm so nervous! I was reading the forums from last year and people got their decisions up to 2 weeks late so I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't find out by tomorrow. Also, people said that the decisions post after 5 pm so it's possible they won't be there all day. Has anyone's OPUS account had any activity?
