Emory applicant for 2011

Greetings everyone:

I just sent in my application for Emory University for next year. I was wondering if anyone else has applied or are planning to apply. Currently, I am taking classes at GPC. I would love to start a little support group. If anyone is a student at Emory and would like to offer some advice it would be much appreciated too. Good luck everyone!

The 15th is almost here. praying 4 the best for all waiting. the staff at admissions have been so helpful and great with email. we all waiting.

Yes, this wait is driving me crazy now. I can barely focus in my Organic Chem class as the days have been getting closer and closer to the 15th :chair:

When I checked OPUS it had 5 To do things listed which are classes I have completed except for 2. Wondering if anyone else has che checked OPUS.

Does anyone know if they are still sending out letters on the 15th? I wasn't sure if they were going to push it back a week because of the school closure or not.

I have been trying not to think about the fact that we will possibly find out next week. Makes me more anxious :uhoh3:

I wanted tomorrrow to come as early as possible but now that is most here,am feeling very nervous. but hopefully it shall be well.

I called Emory today and they told me that they do not have a definite time that the notifications are going to come out.... I hope ours are the first ones out so we are not waiting all day.

That's what they told me... they said during there business hours from 8-5.

Ugh. I could die! One of my transcripts came in late (even though it was posted before the deadline) because it went to the wrong address and I didn't get priority consideration. I thought I'd be finding out with you guys tomorrow, but I'm going to be waiting even longer. I am totally going to sponge off of all of your good/recently accepted vibes tomorrow! ;)

@Je88 - I can complete relate! For one of the other schools I applied to my reference apparently never made it and so I wasn't considered at all for that round. I can apply again in 6 months, but that was my only option. I was really bummed. I thought that was going to happen with Emory, but the snow saved me!
