Greetings everyone:
I just sent in my application for Emory University for next year. I was wondering if anyone else has applied or are planning to apply. Currently, I am taking classes at GPC. I would love to start a little support group. If anyone is a student at Emory and would like to offer some advice it would be much appreciated too. Good luck everyone!
Has anyone received their official letter of acceptance? And if you did do you know when the admissions deposit is due by? Also does anyone know if there is some type of acceptance students event for ABSN/MSN accepted students and when it is if there is one? Anything anyone knows would be really helpful. Congrats to everyone that has gotten in and good luck to all the BSN students that still need to hear!
@T-Dash: Thank you very much for the quick response. That is very helpful. I live way up in MA and I have not received my official letter and information yet. I am anxiously waiting for it.
Is anyone going to the accepted students day? I am not sure if I am going to be able to make it down with work and the classes I am currently taking.
URGENT URGENT!!!!! does anyone have recommendations for an online Microbiology course that is at MAX 8 weeks? I kinda blew it with my time frame here... I didn't realize Emory would need all pre-reqs completed at the beginning of May, and now I am scrambling. I was planning on starting a UPhoenix online class on either March 1, or end of March, but that doesn't give me enough time. Thoughts??

UT Austin has a list of online courses that can be taken self-paced at other institutions. I think Brigham Young is one of the cheapest - though I'm not sure if you need a lab to go with it... I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for...

Good luck!
GPC has mini-mester classes that will start beginning of March through beginning of May I believe. You should look into it, especially if you need the lab that goes with it. Good luck.

Thank you so much! I'm looking forward to visiting the school, but I'm glad I didn't buy a plane ticket to Atlanta for that!
