Emory applicant for 2011

Greetings everyone:

I just sent in my application for Emory University for next year. I was wondering if anyone else has applied or are planning to apply. Currently, I am taking classes at GPC. I would love to start a little support group. If anyone is a student at Emory and would like to offer some advice it would be much appreciated too. Good luck everyone!

@T-Dasha and Dorshee, thank you for the information. I applied for the BSN for a 2nd degree. My file was completed yesterday, so I am still waiting. Just hoping something good comes out. Once more Congratulations to you all.

Does anyone else who has been accepted still have outstanding pre-reqs? If so, just a quick heads up: these need to be completed by the beginning of May. You can complete any online, but they must be completed by the beginning of May.

Yea I am finishing up my last two prerequisites this semester. My classes end the first week of May just in time. The summer program starts pretty early (I think May 16th).

I am doing the acute care pediatric track. What track is everyone else doing?

Hello Everyone!!!

I am new to the thread. I read last years thread and it was very helpful.

For me the time to seems like time has stopped and February 15th is never going to come! I cannot wait to find out my decision.

When you guys find out about your decisions, for those that are accepted, how are you going to start looking for a place to live?

@mavejoy3. I will be completing my fafsa by Monday. I needed to first of all file my taxes. I am also waiting for my results on the 15th.

Am happy to know that we are all waiting for the acceptance on 15th. Its my hope we all get accepted. I applied earlier and my file was completed on Nov. 23 so I have been waiting untill now. Hopefully I will get in.

Congrats to those of you who got in! I just read my acceptance letter on OPUS--could not be happier!

Are y'all going to the Experiencing Emory event on the 19th? Do you know what the event might entail?

I just found out that this event is only for prospective students wanting to learn more before they apply.

Congratulations to everyone who has gotten accepted. I am waiting along with the other BSN hopefuls to see if we get in. The decisions will come out around the 15th???? Are we supposed to be applying for financial aid through the school or just doing our fafsa? I'm just concerned about the cost of Emory and if I don't get fin aid, it would be impossible for me to attend. Any insight? Wishing everyone good luck!
