Emory applicant for 2011

Greetings everyone:

I just sent in my application for Emory University for next year. I was wondering if anyone else has applied or are planning to apply. Currently, I am taking classes at GPC. I would love to start a little support group. If anyone is a student at Emory and would like to offer some advice it would be much appreciated too. Good luck everyone!

Hey everyone! I have applied to the second degree BSN program and I called about whether or not we would find out on the 15th the other day. They said the decisions would definitely be up on Opus by tomorrow sometime.

Question: Did anyone else get a letter about submitting financial aid info several weeks ago? I have the 2 classes listed I haven't completed yet and my financial aid stuff is up on Opus but I am waiting to find out tomorrow as well.

Haha! I'm glad I'm not the only one, but I doubt that I have a shot anymore. I'm still compulsively checking Opus, though! When I found out that I wouldn't be considered for priority, she told me that I still have a chance based on the applicant pool for priority and their projections. So basically if they're swamped with awesome traditional BSN people, they won't have any open slots and I'd be lucky to get waitlisted. So while I hope you guys all get great news, I hope there aren't too many of you. ;-)

Whatever happens, at least we'll know tomorrow. This has been an exhausting wait. I'm definitely making sure that my phone is charged so that I can check OPUS and Allnurses every five minutes. Good luck everyone.

:uhoh21: I went as far as looking at the last few years of applicants on Allnurses to see around what time they found out! But yes, I was told that they post the "not accepted" decisions also on OPUS. *Fingers crossed*

Do anyone have to do's in thier accounts. I know I did CSS I have the receipt to prove it but it still shows just initiated. And what time did they find out in the previous years.

I did mine and they took it off in about 3 weeks later so they will eventually take it off. Lets just hope for the better with getting accepted.

The CSS and the FAFSA profile has to be uploaded into the system (I think my financial aid advisor told me they do it twice a week)...so as long as you have your receipt and when you submitted it I think you should be ok :-)

The wait is KILLING me!

I think calling will just frustrate them more ...I am sure if I was the admission advisor then I would be like..really? lol

They said sometime between 8-5.....soooo I would honestly wait until about 4ish before I would even call up there....

I wish they would have let us known at 8 am!!! :-p
