Hi!
Today was the priority deadline for Emory's ABSN program, and I've already heard back from them that I've been waitlisted. I submitted my application and all the materials early, but I was surprised they made a decision so early! Anyone else in the same boat?
I suppose it's better than a rejection, but so early in the process I'm a little confused about what it means to be on the waitlist.
I submitted my application 11/20, called only a few times to make sure my application was good to go. Hadn't heard anything for a couple of months! Tuesday I decided to give them a call, they said that they are trying to get acceptance notifications out by Friday, if not by next week. Hopefully we will hear from them tomorrow. Good luck everyone!
I just sent my FAFSA but I haven't talked to anyone in regards to financial aid because I was assuming we'd get scholarship information at a later date. But if you google search "emory nursing financial aid", a website comes up that discusses all of the different options. I know that when we applied, we were all considered for merit scholarships and no other supplements were required. If you have specific questions, I'd just call and ask to speak to someone.
