Emory ABSN Fall 2016

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi!

Today was the priority deadline for Emory's ABSN program, and I've already heard back from them that I've been waitlisted. I submitted my application and all the materials early, but I was surprised they made a decision so early! Anyone else in the same boat?

I suppose it's better than a rejection, but so early in the process I'm a little confused about what it means to be on the waitlist.

Does anyone know the total cost of the program?

has anyone heard back from the recent deadline (Jan 31)?

Does anyone know the total cost of the program?

According to the School of Nursing, the tuition for the 2015-2016 school year was around $21,000 per semester, not including costs for books/supplies, living, transportation, additional fees etc.

Since the ABSN program is 4 semesters long, I am assuming tuition will be about $84,000-ish. :dead:

I haven't heard back yet. I applied by the second deadline (December 15). I was asked for my test scores last week and they said my application was under review. Hoping to hear back soon!

Ah thank you. Wow that's pricey. I feel like it's about $20000 more than other programs.

Specializes in Med-Surg.

Yes - it's very expensive! On par with private schools with big names though, I think. I talked to the financial aid person there and she said on average, each student receives about 40,000 in aid. I should have asked if that was in the form of aid you don't have to pay back, or aid you do!

Speaking of - has anyone heard about their aid package yet? It's the thing my decision hinges on!

I have not heard back, but I have not submitted my FAFSA yet. Have you?

Has anyone heard back after they finished their interview? Or do you know when we'll hear back.

I did my interview last week and still haven't heard anything... ugh!

I did my interview mid-January and I haven't heard a peep!

Does anyone know the start date for the program?

I think on the website it says if you applied by the priority date that we will hear by March 1. Fingers crossed it's sooner rather than later!

And I believe the program starts in August
