Emory ABSN Fall 2016

Published

Hi!

Today was the priority deadline for Emory's ABSN program, and I've already heard back from them that I've been waitlisted. I submitted my application and all the materials early, but I was surprised they made a decision so early! Anyone else in the same boat?

I suppose it's better than a rejection, but so early in the process I'm a little confused about what it means to be on the waitlist.

I got wait listed, does anyone know how the wait list works. Im dying to go here and just hopefully waiting to get pulled up.

For those of you who got accepted, have you received an official acceptance letter in your mail yet?

I was accepted back in October, and I haven't received a hardcopy of my acceptance. I haven't submitted by deposit yet, so maybe it will come after the deposit is submitted. Just a guess!

Has anyone received financial aid or merit-based scholarship decisions yet?

@elc1234 Regarding the wait list, their website says they'll take people off the wait list continually up until orientation starts

Does anyone know the total cost of the academic program (without housing, food, etc)?

I got an update on Wednesday about a merit-based scholarship, if that helps. I don't know about regular financial aid or if they sent out all the merit based scholarships

Hello! I got accepted late February, and heard about the merit scholar ship the past week - hope that helps! Also, does anyone know anything about the VA program?

please stop asking how much the program costs. 1) review previous posts 2) review emory website 3) call emory

The point of this forum is to ask each other questions, you shouldn't tell people they can't ask about cost, it's a major concern of most people, if it bothers you that much don't follow

For the people who got accepted, are you planning to go to the new student admit day in April?

I really wanted to but I'm currently in Boston finishing my undergrad and the flight is around $450-$500 :,(
