Hey! I'm in WS at Wake Forest. I don't think so since I'll have to retest in Florida (I think); if anything, I might try to find a seasonal retail job in Miami or something. What about you?

I was accepted and am most likely going! I'm still trying to figure out between Emory and Miami, but I think Miami is the better fit for me. I graduate on May 16, so needless to say, I'll be missing my graduation to start classes. I'm originally from NY but go to school in NC, so moving is going to be a challenge, especially when my exams don't end until orientation day. But it will be well worth it! Glad to meet you all soon!

I was accepted for the summer too, I submitted a new topic to the site so hopefully we will have our own thread soon for the summer cohort that we can all chat on. @eliza- I will have my car down there so I am more than willing to drive people to the same clinical sites that I'm going to. @AAB04- I was going to apply to live on campus for at least the first summer session since they have housing for us. Is there a FB group yet?

I did, but I'm pretty set on Miami actually. I like how much shorter and cheaper it is. Plus, coming from wake forest, I want a lesser stress environment.

I'm currently graduating from wake forest, and I took micro over the summer here this past year. It was really good and thorough, but it was also pretty easy. I'm not sure if you're able to get to Winston, but I'd definitely recommend wake's micro class.

I was unfortunately denied, which really surprised me. But I guess that means I'll be going to Emory or Miami or even switch to PA, who knows! I'm so excited and happy for those of you who got in; you're going to love it! Best of luck!

I got an update on Wednesday about a merit-based scholarship, if that helps. I don't know about regular financial aid or if they sent out all the merit based scholarships

I believe it's due May first, at least that's what I read in a email a few months back. I'm not sure if it's changed since then.

I never got that email about spring 2016 info session which is a bit worrying. So the release date has now been pushed back another week to the third week of March?

I just sent my FAFSA but I haven't talked to anyone in regards to financial aid because I was assuming we'd get scholarship information at a later date. But if you google search "emory nursing financial aid", a website comes up that discusses all of the different options. I know that when we applied, we were all considered for merit scholarships and no other supplements were required. If you have specific questions, I'd just call and ask to speak to someone.

I was looking forward to finding out next week and not over my spring break! Oh well, good luck everyone! Here's hoping we get in!
