Has anyone heard back from Drexel for the fall 2010 class? My husband attended the info session for me a few weeks ago (he works in Philly and I had to work late), and he loved the school. On their website it says you have to have 7 pre-reqs completed prior to applying, but then it says they will not review transcripts until after you are accepted. Does anyone have any info on this?
when i called them up a few days ago...they are now asking that applicants have atlease 5 of the 7 prereqs completed... but i guess u will hear different things depending on who you talk to..
Aren't there a lot more than 7 prereqs though?
English (Composition) - 3 semester credits
English (Literature) - 3 semester credits
Chemistry with lab - 4 semester credits
Introductory Sociology - 3 semester credits
Introductory Psychology - 3 semester credits
Developmental Psychology - 3 semester credits
Anatomy with lab* - 4 semester credits
Physiology with lab* - 4 semester credits
Microbiology with lab* - 4 semester credits
Ethics (Introductory Ethics, Bioethics, or Medical Ethics) - 3 semester credits
Computer Applications/Public Speaking/Communication Elective - 3 semester credits
Human Nutrition - 3 semester credits
Statistics - 3 semester credits
That is odd. Maybe they just don't tell us formally what we still need to take (and by when) until after we're accepted?
YES, that was exactly my point ... like for instance, I completed a computer course as an undergrad and I am assuming (key word here) that it's going to fulfill the "Computer Applications/Public Speaking/Communication Elective". They are not going to tell me if it's a valid completed prereq until after acceptance, at which time I will have already planned the rest of my upcoming semesters with the remainder of prereqs that I know I need and prob might not be able to fit in anything extra before the beginning of the program. It is indeed odd.

Yes, the list you posted was accurate. They say you cannot apply until at least 7 are completed. The rest you then complete before you start ACE.
Hey everyone,
I just read on the website that the Fall 2010 still had seats available and that they are still taking applications, does anyone know if there is any truth to this?? seems unlikely since there are some of you on a waitlist... Congrats to all of you who've gotten in so far!

Ted d-I agree that its an odd set up. I was accepted and assumed three of my undergrad courses would fufill the pre-reqs and learned when I got the eval form that they were not accepting them. Needless to say I had to scramble and I think my summer is going to be borderline awful with the coursework. Oh well..gotta get it done regardless though. HOpe it works out well for you.

Hello Guys,
I got some update on the waitlist yesterday from the ACE program advisor. She said decisions will be made probably end of May or First week in June. She also indicated that they are still accepting applications so the waitlist might get longer before the final decision date. This is not a good news to everyone on the waitlist but thought to share the information :)
