  1. Just checked Sakai again. I see one course up! (N582) So exciting!! :)
  2. Welcome, Njn237! Yeah, I was also told nothing will be up on Sakai until tomorrow. The one prof I got an email from said the first lecture won't even be up until next Monday, so I think this week might be pretty slow schoolwork-wise.
  3. I requested to join the fb group~ please add me! :) Also, here's our textbook list for this semester: https://www.dukestores.duke.edu/medicalcenterstore/books/pdf/medcoursebooks_spring_nursing.pdf I got most of my books on rental through Amazon. The only one I ended up buying was the pathophysiology book, since I know that's gonna require a lot of highlighting and note taking lol
  4. Also, sooo sorry to hear about you being stuck, pana82! I was able to cancel my flight just in time! And it really is a bummer that we won't have an in-person orientation. I was also really looking forward to going to campus and meeting everyone..
  5. I just got an email with a draft version of the syllabus and course calendar for NURS 580! The prof said the course will post on Sakai on Wednesday.. Did you guys get any info on any of the other courses for first semester? Also, do you all have facebook? Maybe we should create a group or something so we can share helpful info. Any thoughts?
  6. Haha, pana92, I definitely understand what you said about enjoying our last weeks of freedom! Looking forward to see you at orientation! :)
  7. Woohoo! Just registered for first sem classes! This is feeling more real as the days go by! Will you all be at the new student orientation?
  8. Thank you pana92! I'm in the AGNP-Primary Care program, no specialty. I also applied for the merit-based scholarship but haven't heard anything yet.
  9. Hi all~! Congrats to those who got in! I was originally accepted for Fall 2016 but had to defer one semester due to personal circumstances. Excited to start this MSN journey with you all in a few months! :)
  10. Did everyone get their net ID and password? I had to call the IT department to get mine
  11. Hmm.. Is our netID and password different from what we use to log in to SISS? NICCURN, when I log onto SISS, there's a "To Do List" on the right side and under that they have the immunization form we need to complete. Maybe they're a little delayed and haven't updated everyone's SISS page yet?
  12. Best of luck to you at Vanderbilt!
  13. I was just playing around with SISS and saw that there's an immunization form, matriculation plan, and some other things we have to complete. I haven't started working on anything yet. Not really sure what the next steps are..
  14. I don't blame you, dkvrn. I got accepted to Duke's AGNP program and have decided to go there. It would've been nice if Hopkins had at least notified us we weren't selected or something.. I think not knowing is worse :/ Best of luck to those of you waiting to hear back! :)
  15. Hi pixie5! Welcome :) and congrats! Hmm.. I'm not sure about the design of the classes but I highly doubt we'll have set times we're required to log in. I could be wrong. But one of the reasons why people choose online programs is because of the flexibility so I would be surprised if we had required times to be in front of the computer. But who knows? :) we'll be finding out soon~ I just paid my $1000 deposit. Eeek!
