For those of you who have been accepted and may be interested in sharing housing (maybe 4 of us or so) feel free to drop me a PM. I currently live in Philadelphia and in my search so far I've found a lot of good options. I was thinking of either University City or the Art Museum area with us paying around $500/person. This way there will be free on street parking and also a close proximity to the campus. Looking forward to meeting you all!

I think it is different than the ACE program.

Public health professional usually don't make a lot of money in medicine...that is why a lot of people choose to pursue an MD instead of an MPH.

I had no idea the programs were so competitve - I am guessing because it is still fairly new?

I second the suggestions of online resources - we all learn differently: hearing something, reading something or repeating, etc.

They gave me until June 1st to decide if I wanted to take my spot or not. Hope this helps those you waiting figure out a timeline for yourselves.

Hello all, Wanted to say thank you to all of the ACE program graduates for helping us new folks out. I currently live in Philly and work for CHOP. Two things: 1) Could someone please outline a typical week for an ACE student? Days of class? Clinicals? Hours of each? 2) Anyone put any more thought into housing? I may be interested in finding a roommate but I am little worried about ending up with someone crazy. I would like to live in Center City (I already live on 10th and Arch near Chinatown but will be finding a new place before the program starts). Thanks in advance! P.s. I'm sure they are waiting for everyone who has received their acceptance letter to send in their $500 payment. I was accepted and I have until April 8th to send it in....
