  1. we were both transfers from community colleges.
  2. They are getting rid of the upper division nursing program. It going to be a four year program instead of starting in junior year. This is from the website... "Recent updates in the guidelines for education of professional nurses prompted systematic review of the upper division pre-licensure curriculum, which culminated in the design of a new 4-year pre-licensure curriculum and decision to phase out the upper division pre-licensure track. Thus, we will enroll 40 students to the upper division track in Fall 2010 and Fall 2011 before its termination in 2013, when all enrolled students are projected to have completed the degree requirements" They will still have a nursing program they are just converting.
  3. I found out last week that I was accepted to the upper division nursing program. I'm really excited.
  4. The only information I have is what Drexel sent me when I applied. All I know is that if you do all the prereqs then you can get your bsn in 2 years. I was told that to get into the fast track you have to have above a 3.3 gpa when you apply to the nursing program. Drexel gave me a layout of the two years and a lot of the classes are online. It's a new program and I could not find any information online. You can probably call the nursing department to get more information. I was accepted but most likely not going to attend.
  5. No, I believe its mainly for transfer students who do not have a bachelors degree. You have to complete 2 years of prerequisites and then 2 years of nursing courses to get you bachelors degree in nursing.
  6. I was accepted into Drexel's two year nursing fast track program for fall of 2010. I have completed all the prerequisites at community college and can get my BSN in two years from drexel. Is anyone else accepted into this program? If you are do you plan on attending?
  7. I applied to Rutgers nursing program in Camden, I was waitlisted and I have a GPA of 3.6. Its very competitive because of the small class size.
  8. Thanks. Drexel is going to send me more information about the program in the next two weeks. From the information I have so far, I will transfer and receive my BSN in two years and I will be able to complete one co-op. I just wish they had more information posted online.
  9. Hi everyone, I was just accepted into drexel yesterday and was invited to participate in the Two-Year Nursing Co-op Transfer Fast Track program this fall. I cant seem to find any information regarding this program. Is anyone else in this program or have taken this program?
