We have been out since Monday and were supposed to be out For 2 weeks but yesterday they extended the cancelation until April 20th. I’m hopeful we will get to go back for May classes but I doubt it. They have already pushed big events here until June and even September. Colleges here are out for the semester. It’s not looking good for any in person classes this year.
I'm in North East Texas. We are done for the year with face-to-face classes. Our model is a hybrid of class time and online and we have opted to just switch fully to online instruction for the remainder of the year. It's a weird weird time. I don't know how to switch to "Summer mode" yet.
We were first told we would have a two week Spring Break (we started the second week today) and then all of Florida extended to April 15th. I have a feeling they are just going to cancel live classes for the rest of this year. I don't think this is going to have blown over by April 15th. ?

Hi,
I'm a school nurse in the northeast. We are closed for at least 2 weeks, but I anticipate it will be much longer than that. I really do hope that we get to a point where it is safe to reopen, but my gut is saying that we might be done for this school year.
What are your thoughts?
