This is just me. But, if the teacher is being goofy enough to let the kids play with the animals. I would make the teacher call the parent.
To answer your question, yes I do see trends. I think the kids get in a huddle and decide what the "flavor of the day" is going to be.
Happy Friday everyone!
I am very grateful our biology teachers do NOT have that type of reptile in their classes!
Todays repetitive visits are based on the Every 15 minutes program. I understand the need for it, my only complaint is the snowball affect it creates on the friends who show up to the clinic also. Only a few more hours to go.....
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend

Is that the Drunk Driving program?
Ditto on cramps and/or "I need feminine supplies" days or week. I feel like in each grade, the girls are now in sync with each other, getting their menstrual periods the same week.
This week has been allergy week, though that one is legit. The tree pollen is insane this week in New England.
i have the days when i'm running specials on nosebleeds - that happens a lot around here - of course the blue light special has been the eye irritation from the high pollen count and discomfort from stuffy noses due to the aforementioned allergies. Heaven forbid that the little darlings stay in class with the slightest bit of discomfort!

I do! And they come in 3s, too.
Today is a rash day. Three rashes so far, but I have a few hours left in my day still.
This week has been a reptile bite week?!? We have a biology teacher who lets his student handle the reptiles he keeps in his class. It's always good fun when you call home to tell mom that Susie got bit by a snake on the back of the neck in biology class.
I've had 2 this week (one snake bite and one lizard-ish bite).
At the beginning of April I had cardiology week. One student with a dx of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (no incidents at school thank GOODNESS!!) and 2 students on cardiac monitors at school.
Do you notice these trends/themes as well?
