Denied by CABON now to take LVN..

Can anyone help me here, I'm planning to take the LVN exam because I just got denied by CABON because of the concurrency issue..I just want to know:

Method #3 - Equivalent Education and/or Experience(the PHARMACOLOGY course)Do I need to submit it also? and how? or I just need to submit only the

Method #2 - Graduates of an Out-of-State School of Practical/Vocational Nursing.

BTW, I'm an international graduate, Registered Nurse from the Philippines but I can't sit for the NCLEX-RN exam that is why I decided to take this one. Hope someone can answer my question thank you.

guys just wanna ask about this..

  1. Successful completion of a written examination titled the National Council Licensing Examination for Practical (Vocational) Nursing (NCLEX) or the National League for Nursing Test Pool Practical Nursing Examination (NLN). A passing score on a Registered Nurse examination will not satisfy this requirement.

this is one of the summary requirements and i really dont know what it meant? can someone tell me? thanks a lot!

It means pass the NCLEX-PN. Unless you tested more than 25 years ago then pass the state board. 25+ years ago each state had their own exam.

I took NCLEX-RN for Hawaii and Nclex-pn for california last march and feb and I passed both exams. I took the review classes at Excel.

How long is the processing time for NCLEX hawaii.?

Btw, how you been doin here guys? Im taking my deficiency in MS as of the moment. And after that I can take the NCLEX RN then. Been a LVN for 2 years now. I didnt realize it's been almost a four year journey. Ill let you know once Im done with MS. Is there anybody out there able to finish their deficiencies and passed the NCLEX RN?

How long is the processing time for NCLEX hawaii.?

3-6months for CFgns-ces plus 3-4weeks application processing (HI BON).

hi. is this thread still active? i have a problem with the processing of my requirements. my school refused to fill in the record of nursing program form because they said they only accept original copies. what i sent them was the form i downloaded from the bvnpt site. is there really an original copy for that? i hope to get a reply soon...thanks

That's the form my husband sent to his school. Explain to your school that the form was just being downloaded from the bvnpt site.

That copy u downloaded should be good enough..

Hi again. So my school finally accepted the form from the internet. Now should i really be the one to send those documents with my application? Or they can send it directly to bvnpt? Coz thats what my school wanted. If they will be the one to send it, should i call first the bvnpt if they received it before i submit my application. Thank you for your answers!

There is a step by step instruction from the bvnpt site. What i did for my application is i sent it all together with the sealed envelope from my school. I mailed it with tracking so i know when it reached the board. Nothing wrong with your school wanting to send it but it might cause delay. You can show the instruction from the bvnpt site to your school that instead of them mailing it we applicants can submit it all at once to the board.

Thanks cherrybee. I'll try to make a letter and ask them if i can submit it on my own. I hope they would let me. Have you taken your exam already?
