Hi I tried to PM you but haven't got a reply.just wondering why? I think it will be a great help to your fellow kababayans and other as well if you'll share us what school your attending to..thanks and hoping to receive feedback from you.

I just want to point some issues here regarding to some of you guys applying for BVNPT licensure exam. 1)first thing is we got denied from CABON for licensure because of concurrency issue, so some of us requested our documents to be transferred to BVNPT right?,the thing is even if the CABON transferred our documents it doesnt necessarily mean that we will be given automatic approval from BVNPT without requesting additional requirements from us for they have their own forms to be filled up. Maybe I just got lucky they didnt ask any additional forms from me to be filled up because maybe I guess: 1)I didnt asked CABON to transfer my document or whatever we call it. 2)I filled up all the needed forms that are needed by BVNPT not just their application form. 3)and I think the most important form is the RECORD of NURING PROGRAM.That is the form that our school need to fill up and be submitted to BVNPT,and for what I see it is the DECLARATION of NURSING EDUCATION/and or LICENSURE(but not really sure). 4)we also need to show our 54 hours of pharmacology,that is included in the RECORD of NURSING PROGRAM so no worry about it for our school will know what to do with it. Sorry for I havent opening my account for days for Im reviewing already for the exam.Ill just update you guys soon esp.my kababayan after I take the test.Wish you all guys goodluck and I know we will all succeed in our chosen career.

Try to look at their website kababayan you must also be aware of the new requirements by CABON with regards to d concurrency issue of theory and clinical cases.

Taking LVN exam doesn't qualify us to sit for NCLEX-RN, it's just one of the option some of us have to take to be able to work and save money to enroll in a school for the completion of our deficiency.because we all know that we need a lot of cash in order to sit for the RN exam.:)And that's for those who really want to stay in California.

have this print and send it to ur school also: Method #3 - Equivalent Education and/or Experience. * Submit all items listed in Step #1 on the first page of these instructions. * In addition, you must submit the following documentation with your application for licensure: - Record of Nursing Program and Official Transcripts (Form 55A-2) - If you attended nursing school, send this form to your school for completion and request that the school return the completed form to you with an official certified transcript in a sealed business envelope. Transcripts received from the school in a foreign language will also require a certified English-language translation completed either by the school or by an independent professional translator who is not related to the applicant. You must submit the sealed business envelope containing the Record of Nursing Program and official transcripts with your application for licensure. Try to go to their website and read carefully all the things that you need to do.

its a yes kababayan thats why u have a BSN degree.:)

my sister got it from my school and mailed it to me.I was the one who submitted all the requiremnts to BVNPT.Its ok as long as I can help esp.if its us kababayans.

ok my ans.are here: 1)no,only the record of nursing program which was filled-up by my school. 2)it depends with your school registrars office on how they will do it,mine was just included in the form of record of nursing program.TOR is not enough,its in their method 3 steps. 3)yes I passed it all d same time. here are the steps:http://www.bvnpt.ca.gov/pdf/method3.pdf

march 23..thats why I didnt post it when I received my ATT for I am shocked also when I got it,still thinking if maybe they got it wrong.and my friend told me maybe they separate the ones from CABON applicants to those who directly apply to them.or maybe our analyst from CABON didnt really send it asap when some of us requested it to be transferred.may 4 got my att.

Just fill-up method 3..Record of nursing program is the one that you need to send to your school and also proof of your 54hrs.pharmacology. just pm me here and Ill reply when Im not busy.:)

accdg.to sallyp911 post.....(1). Will the BVNPT still accept applicants with the NON-currency of their classes? The LVN Board does not require concurrency of theory/clinical however, it is on a case by case basis, whereby yes, you must show your courses were taken in the same semester. The Board may require a Declaration that no internet/distance learning was in the program and may require copies of passport/visas. @ sallyp911...yes Its a case to case basis but in your post your always insisting of the concurrency issue,that you know many IEN are having problems with,that started from CABON.but since Im approved by BVNPT I think your friend was denied because she doesnt have SS#.FYI prior to my application to BVNPT I also asked CABON about the concurrency thing with BVNPT and said it will not affect me if ever I decide to challenge d exam. And how come will BVNPT set the concurrency issue as you keep on insisting if in the first place the BVNPT didnt even asked me for it.They just told me to send my Record of Nursing Program,TOR and proof of 54hrs.pharmacology.

@ sallyp911...yeah you are right sometimes the news are not always good,but I hope IEN applicants should atleast get some truth when reading some posts regarding the application problems that many IEN encounters..you said your overseas friend got denied too by LVN because of the concurrency issue,because it was cited in her letter. you said that your friend is now going to pursue her out of CA applications and hope to get one state that does not require SS#. Now my question is are you really sure she was denied because of the concurrency issue?because in the first place she doesnt have SS# so how come she applied for LVN knowing that in the form we need to put our SS#?So sorry if I find your post in a different way.

from what i see here maybe BVNPT are trying to separate applicants from those who were denied by CABON,because in my case I didnt asked CABON to transfer my requirements to them so meaning its a whole new start processing that Ive been thru.BVNPT dont have any idea that I was denied by CABON.
