Schools open here, 2 hour delay because of the cold.

School is closed here.

But I'm working - hospice.

I don't remember if I already wrote this somewhere but I had a voicemail from one of the teachers last week telling me her first aid box was just about empty and could I bring some supplies to refill it? I called her back and laughed and said "I retired in October, remember?".

She laughed too and asked me the name of the new school nurse.

We have had a 3 day weekend. Super duper cold here in north Mo. Didn't do much but go to some ballgames and church. Cleaned house today. Hubby vacuumed YaaaaY for him!!

Back to the fun tomorrow. Snow is on the way. I predict we will get out early. (fingers-crossed) :cool:
