I know it's incredibly early, there's not even a board for Fall 2015 and their applications are due in 2 months, but I can't wait.
Is there anyone else here planning on applying for the Spring 2016 program?
I'm taking Biology 223 and 251 this semester. I'm also taking my TEAS on the 17th so I have time to take it more than once if need be. I figure I'll have 31 or 32 points. Everything except Biology 224 (which I'll be taking during the fall 15 semester) and previous medical experience, since massage therapy doesn't count.
I'm just curious if any of my potential future classmates are here already, reading up on things like I am.
Statistics is horrible but I haven't been focusing on it like I should. In fact, we're getting ready to go to Cali for a week so I'm did 4 chapters in 3 days.
And apparently we're not allowed to post names of other members? I don't know why that got edited.
I'm finishing up math120 this week. I have to check to see how many points I'll have. I still have my TEAS to take. Unfortunately I left it until super last minute to take it. I have less than 4 weeks to study for that. Hope everyones summers is going great.

I highly highly highly recommend splurging on the ATI practice tests and the ATI study book. You can get it online or at Barnes and Noble!
I STILL haven't gone to the application workshop that is required. And I have to re-do the health programs orientation because I went so long ago and didn't write down the date. Ugh. So I'm doing both on August 4th. In between the 2 I'm going to take my application and paperwork to the advisor's office over at Cheyenne and have her go over it with me like she recommended. Has anyone started on shots yet? My friend has. I keep meaning to call and schedule and appointment with my doctor but things have gotten crazy here.

I am using the ATI study manual, TEAS V Secrets study guide (new book I think) and the McGraw Practice test book. I didn't buy them, actually checked them out from the school library. I am considering buying the online practice tests ATI offers. This TEAS exam is the deciding factor on whether or not I start the nursing program in Spring 2016.

Hello everyone! Spring 2016 nursing student hopeful here☺ i just need to pass my teas. Im taking esl198b reading part of the teas in the summer to help me prepare for it. So far, i have 37 points.
Have you taken your TEAS yet? I'm so nervous for it. Passing/ failing the TEAS is going to decide whether I make it into Spring 2016 or have to wait until Fall 2016. Yikes!!

As long as you pass (and trust me it's really not that hard) you are golden. I am taking 224 this fall along with music appreciation for the bachelor's.
We need tdap, hep b, varicella (chicken pox), mmr, and a tb test.
Renew your CPR and of course the drug test and background check.

Im taking my teas next week.. 😦 i get so nervous and the anxiety just takes over me whenever i take it.. im hoping i pass this time so i wont have to wait til fall 2016.. the esl for teas reading was cancelled for the summer so i wasnt able to tale it either.. when are you scheduled to take your teas?

You don't need to record the date for the application of the health programs orientation, only the application workshop and a date you met with your advisor.

I could have sworn the checklist had the health programs orientation on it too... Huh. Well that's great.
