I know it's incredibly early, there's not even a board for Fall 2015 and their applications are due in 2 months, but I can't wait.
Is there anyone else here planning on applying for the Spring 2016 program?
I'm taking Biology 223 and 251 this semester. I'm also taking my TEAS on the 17th so I have time to take it more than once if need be. I figure I'll have 31 or 32 points. Everything except Biology 224 (which I'll be taking during the fall 15 semester) and previous medical experience, since massage therapy doesn't count.
I'm just curious if any of my potential future classmates are here already, reading up on things like I am.
How did u do on your teas?
I took my TEAS a while ago, got an 84.7. It's not great but the advisor I spoke to said applying with 30 points is great. As long as there's nothing wrong with my application I should be accepted.
I did more poorly in the English part than I thought possible. I didn't study it, study the English!
The past 3 semester the cut off has been around 26-28 points and at least 10 alternates have been getting in. Right now I'm more concerned with not screwing up my application and getting my immunizations and such done.
Have you taken your TEAS yet? I'm so nervous for it. Passing/ failing the TEAS is going to decide whether I make it into Spring 2016 or have to wait until Fall 2016. Yikes!!
So have you taken your TEAS yet? I failed reading by 6% so it looks like i willl not be able to apply for spring 2016! Bummer! But the lady at the testing site said this will be the last year theyll be using ati.. theyll be using kaplan next year but im not what that is!

84.7? Thats pretty good!! Im sure you'll be able to get in!!
Hi potential classmate! I am taking 224, 251, and an online class this semester, knocked out my TEAS last semester, and I do not have any previous medical working experience, but I am currently med tech certified. The most ideal situation for me is to be accepted for the Fall 2015, but knowing that the core sciences are at least 15 extra points, I doubt I'll be accepted without them. Best of luck to you this year!

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that. I take mines on the 22nd. I have studied but not as much as I should be and it doesn't help that I'll be going to California for 5 days. I don't have a backup plan if I don't pass my teas. I probably should have planed for one. I wish you luck in what ever your next step is. Don't get discouraged.
WellThatsOod,(I don't want to use your real name because apparently its not allowed. lol)
Do you happen to have an updated Program Requirement sheet for Rn to BSN program? I have an older one and I looked at the NSC website but the information is not matching up. Do you happen to know what additional courses are required there as pre-requisites for the RN-BSN program? I'll be at the Limited Entry Application workshop later today.

I don't have a sheet I'm just piecing it together from what I see online. I know stats, English 102, human development. I don't know if we need nutrition and chemistry or not. Before it was a definite yes, but now I can't tell.
Perhaps I'll see you there, then. My friend went a few months ago so I'm solo today. Boo!
And yes, we're not supposed to use real names shhhhh!
