I have asked before - How does one joined. How crusty does one have to be? Is 52 Old enough? Are we talking about the flying Mammal or a baseball bat? Are there dues? Enguiring minds want to know!

I believe one of the requirements is to be accused, at least once, of NETY in a post. I think that may be substituted with an allegation that you are just jealous because the poster is young and beautiful and you are old, ugly and behind the times.

BrandonLPN nominated me, but he is neither crusty nor old, so not sure if I made the cut.

Can we make a new title?
Crusty Young Bat?
I'm young, and even younger in my experience level, but I identify with more of the COB mentality. Doesn't that make me a CYB?
After all, if I IDENTIFY as crusty and I think it's something to aspire to, doesn't that automatically make me crusty?

Nope. You have to earn your crust. That takes time.

Just make a signature line and state you are a "future member."
I'm in my thirties but have worked in healthcare for 15 years-I'm a bit crusty, although I'll say I'm still young in my nursing career.

As a future member of the Crusty Old Bat Society, you are welcome to copy my signature. Dues check can be made out to me.
Gotta pay for my photography and traveling hobbies somehow.
