I just wanna congratulate Prince Charles and Camilla on their wedding which took place today. :balloons:

I know it is not popular here in the Uk but we should all look to ourselves and if we are above reproach then we can criticise others.

It was lovely to have some nice news here instead of doom and gloom.

:)

Well everyone deserves some happiness in their life but I can't offer congratulations to someone who cheated on his wife.......then married the woman he cheated with. It just doesn't sit well with me.

I'm not trying to start a war here on who's above reproach and stuff.....just my feelings.

I'm gald to hear that this cast some light in your life though. :)

Well, I think it's charming. They've obviously been seriously in love with each other for decades, and it's delightful to see two middle-aged people so happy with each other. I'm glad they're finally able to be together "officially."

He cheated on Diana, Diana cheated on him, Camilla's husband cheated on her, the "fairytale" royal marriage was a disaster waiting to happen in the first place -- there's plenty of blame to go around (if that's your game ...), including the advisors who told him he couldn't marry the woman he wanted to (Camilla) in the first place, and insisted on that ridiculous fiasco with Diana the Twit.

These two have been waiting for decades for the opportunity to just be together and enjoy each other and a quiet life together, and I say good on 'em.

Best Wishes to the happy couple. They deserve to be England's newest tourist attraction.

I don't care for him and liked Di so it irritates me but that makes no difference to the world in the grand scheme of things LOL.

I thought they looked stunning and happy, especially her.

To have gone through what they have gone through the last 30 some years shows true love, and anyone that loves each other that much deserves to be together without judgement about their past. What's past is past.

whoopiee!! two old cheaters get married.......uuckh Why even bother? This is not an attack on the poster, I just can't take a celebration of cheaters.

It's exciting to see them together and happy... They've obviously been in love for a long time, and regardless of "who's done what with/to whom", I'm enough of a romantic that I think this is wonderful.

I watched part of the coverage on CNN -- the outfits and hats were amazing!! It made me wish I had something "fancy" to attend!!

You took the words right out of my mouth! And True love is such a gift, and for them finally to be able to celebrate it as such- BRAVO! I am truly happy for Charles and Camilla and would like to wish them congratulations as well

old saying:

"When a man marries his mistress, there's a new job opening"

Personally, I don't think character changes. Liars lie, cheaters cheat, honest people remain honest.

Doesn't affect me one bit...I hope everything works out for them, though it won't be easy. marriage NEVER is

Too bad he didn't marry Camilla in the first place, as she is obviously his only love and vice versa. But, if that happened there would be no William and Harry. Things happen as they are supposed to in my view. I think Charles tried to do what was right for the monarchy and realized he couldn't do it after it was to late. Di was everyone's sweetheart, I liked her alright, but she did have considerable flaws! Because she is gone, those flaws are easier to ignore. That Charles and Camilla have remained together through all that has happened proves they belong together and restores my belief that there is such a thing as true love. I think it's great.

Absolutely agree. Nobody is perfect, we all have made mistakes, hurt people, said things we later regret. I'm glad they got married and I hope they are happy, I think everyone deserves happiness.

I dont understand people that blame charles for everything that happened to diana, here were two people that were not at all suited and the marriage failed, from what I can see it happens to people all the time.
