Good morning! Time for me to 'come clean'. I have been stalking this site for quite some time. This morning I have finally taken the time to join. I must say that I have been impressed over and over again at the wonderful, caring, helpful advice I have received from this site. So, thank you so much and I am happy to be on board. I am a school nurse for 5 years now, still learning every day. Happy Friday!!!
Standing in the Non-School Nurses Section as well....
Hello and welcome from another non-school nurse stalker!
Glad you said it first!!Another non school nurse saying "welcome".
The school nurses that post are awesome & I love to read their stories! I expect you to keep up the tradition :)
Hello! You're right - these people are awesome. I'm not a school nurse; I think I might be a groupie, though.
Ok, so are we groupies or an entourage?

Would I be showing my age too much if I said "Ten-Four, Good Buddy! We got us a CONVOY!"
But seriously, I much prefer being in an entourage if I had my druthers. "Groupies" brings creepy images of all the, ummm, 'activities' that transpired around rock bands in the 70's . No, thank you. Not a groupie, and not even a stalker!

CW McCall rocks...and, of course, John Denver.

Mhmmmm....
What about that ONE guy? The DJ.
Mhmmmm....What about that ONE guy? The DJ.
Not a D.J.; the guy in question was a Newsman who started out in radio and worked his way up to be the head anchor guy for the local (Big City) TV affiliate, was once NBC but is now CBS...I think.
Anyway, we didn't stalk him!!! We were the NSPBNGLF , a fan club of intelligent young women. Plus we always brought the guys at the station some kind of home-made bakery treat to perk up their otherwise dull Sunday afternoon.
Yet another non-school nurse here, posting to say I love reading this forum! You guys are hilarious and I really have learned a lot about pediatric issues from your posts. I'm a CNM with prior nursing experience in Mother/Baby---I know newborns really well, after that I'm pretty clueless!
