Confesson--from a stalker

Good morning! Time for me to 'come clean'. I have been stalking this site for quite some time. This morning I have finally taken the time to join. I must say that I have been impressed over and over again at the wonderful, caring, helpful advice I have received from this site. So, thank you so much and I am happy to be on board. I am a school nurse for 5 years now, still learning every day. Happy Friday!!!

lol I am new here as well I just got a new job working for a Hospice nurse agency that I start orientation for in a week. lol neverous but also super excited about it as well.

lol we newbies should stick together.

Yeah- I must admit I too stalked for a few years before joining.

I'm not a regular poster- I pop on once in a while with my 2 cents!

I've learned so much from you guys. Because of this site I was mentally prepared for nursing school because you guys tell it like it is and I LOVE that!

Now that school is over I love unwinding and distressing while reading some of the antics on here-

Just last night I was reading a particular thread about professionalism, beauty, splendor, and awe when I started giggling loudly to myself..my husband, who was in the other room said out loud what's so funny? My 7 year old answered for me- " Moms on Allnurses again"!!

Hi,

I have just joined allnurses this week. I am starting the bachelor of nursing either in term 1 or 2, and am looking forward to that.

Although many threads here make me vacillate between thinking being a school nurse would awesome or terrifying. And by terrifying I mean dealing with the non nurse staff and helicopter hypochondriac parents...

We can walk a few steps behind them, gazing adoringly and holding their supply of cough drops, tampons & lice combs
