It bears mentioning that I have a document on my desktop with some of my most commonly used notes. I copy and paste and alter to suit the student. I realize this may not be best practice but it saves me a lot of time and angst when finishing documentation. I figured if drop-downs are permitted, why not standard notes in the narrative? I was just finding myself typing the same things over and over anyway.
I have thought about doing this too! I use the same phrasing over and over.

Have you been spying on me in my health office???? :) I say all those things daily! How about "Suck it up, buttercup"? I don't actually say that, but I think it A LOT.
"I think we should cut it off." "Ugh...You're killing me, smalls!""FLUSH THE TOILET!"I don't think these are the things you were looking for, but ya know...

I love all of these.
Our SNAP program has preset visit templates which save a ton of time. But I enjoy putting direct quotes in from students.
"Mom told me to see you as soon as I got in"
"When did the headache start?" "Last October"
"How did you get hurt?" "Buddy got mad during dodgeball and hit me in the face... by accident"
And welcome to the next 40 years of your life.
