Columbia SON MDE 2019

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to start this thread for those who are all applying to the Columbia School of Nursing MDE program for 2019 Entry.

I figured we could all share our thoughts/ questions/ concerns here, or just use this to meet some new people ?

My name is Gurdeep, I'm from NY, and I'm a recent Grad from Binghamton University. Looking forward to meeting all of you ?

im confused i thought we only had to answer one video question..

There's only one question for the video submission about obstacles you've faced. Then you will be prompted to continue on to the timed writing portion which also consists of only one question.

Pretty sure my voice was shaking during my video essay :/ not sure why as I was fine when practicing on my webcam 50 times!!

Yup! When I clicked the next button, it brought me straight to the writing portion. It just threw me off a little.

Hi everyone,

My application is all done. everything is filled out but at the end it is saying ERROR MISSING BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION in the personal section but it is filled out. i need help, does anyone know what to do

I had the same issue. I just needed to click the box stating that my mailing address is the same as my permanent address.

Did anyone get a second email from Columbia once everything was marked off on the checklist?

I did not :( I still have a big red X where the GRE Score report is.

They sent an email saying to ignore the X. But I'm wondering when will review it and get rid of it.

Anyways, Good luck to everyone! I'm so excited and nervous to hear back.

Mine has a checkmark, but it took them like 3 weeks to update it after it was submitted. I thought I would be getting an email saying my application had moved on to the second step. These next 4 months are going to drive me insane with the crazy wait!
