There are 226 people in the facebook group, but I think that includes some administrators and a few people currently in the program. Also, some people have written things like "help me decide between Columbia and x school...." so it's a safe bet that not everyone will end up attending.

Thanks thats good insight. Hope after visiting students day I'll have a gut feeling of where I belong. Good luck in your choice as well!! Are you putting down a deposit for MGH? it's so unfortunate that MGH requires a deposit before Columbia has hosted its visiting students day

Definitely email admissions for MGH and request an deposit extension. I am in the same boat and I received a week extension.

Hey all,

Looking for a little insight. I got accepted to Yale for the GEPN program (FNP) and Columbia for the ETP program (acute care) but I'm planning on switching to FNP if i go there. I am really torn on the decision. Anyone else out there in a similar boat? Any opinions on these programs in comparison to each other.

USNews just released their 2015 rankings for nursing schools. I want to know how a school as disorganized as NYU can rank higher than Columbia. Do these rankings surprise anyone?

Hi! I had no idea financial aid packages were out. Has anyone been able to view a financial aid award package?

They sent them out on Thursday. They said at the visiting day they may be postponed if the government picks up on discrepancies in your fafsa.
