Has anyone started a thread yet? The application is due in 174 days and as you can see I'm already obsessing.
Anyone else?!
I called the office of fin aid and found out that the tuition for the Master's portion of 1.5 years is about $75,000 alone. Does anyone know if this more reasonable price tag compared to the ETP portion of $87,000 for 1 year is because we have more clinicals and such for the Master's vs the ETP portion? Plus, if you notice the budget for room and board, the amount is $24,000 for one year so if you find a place that is less than $1000 a month, then that extra $1000 per month can be utilized for personal expenses :)

Good to know that it gets a little cheaper. Does anyone know how likely it is for us to get the health insurance waived? I would rather save those few thousands of dollars...
I'm in for the psych specialty, from California and looking for off-campus housing also! If you or anyone else is still looking for a roommate my email is [email protected] definitely interested in the midtown west area :)
The ETP portion of the program includes 60 credits: Summer = 20 credits, Fall = 19 Credits, Spring = 21 Credits. Of these 60 credits, 9 are actually graduate class credits; but, you pay for all of them at the undergraduate credit rate. The MSN part of the program is 50-52 credits, but since you have completed the ETP portion, you have already taken 9 of these credits...leaving you only 41-43 graduate credits (depending on your specialty), which is . This is why there is a difference between the two parts of the program.
I definitely think their estimate of $2,000 per month is high.
Also, don't forget, depending on your specialty, it is possible to work (at least part-time) during the MSN part of the program.
Hope this info is helpful.

Thanks! The financial aid office contacted me early last week. I had to make a correction on my FAFSA. Would someone post an example of an award package?
