Nursing Students School Programs
Published May 25, 2014
Has anyone started a thread yet? The application is due in 174 days and as you can see I'm already obsessing.
Anyone else?!

I've received an email regarding official transcripts. We have the option of collecting and sending the transcripts via FEDEX, UPS, or USPS (discouraged) or bringing them to orientation in a sealed envelope.
@Columbiahopeful. Yes, the deadline to send in deposits has passed.

Does anyone get rejected for private loans?
Yes. Since private loans are based on the applicant's credit, some applications may receive a denial.

Haven't heard any news from the waitlist either, but I believe we're supposed to get an email this week or next week about it!

I'm starting the FNP (for RN's) program in May and wanted to know what you all have heard about workload- I'm trying to decide if I can work 2-3 shifts a week during the program. Anyone heard of anyone doing it?

It's my first time writing on this thread! I'm currently wait-listed for the FNP program. Has anyone been accepted from the wait-list yet? I believe on the initial letter we got in February they said today was the last day.

Hello,
I'm planning to apply this coming year and have been reading a lot about the high cost of attendance. Does anybody know if the nurse corps program is an option for the Columbia ETP? And if so, are there any current students with nurse corp scholarships/contracts?
Hello, SBCVixen! Yes, the NURSECorp scholarship is an option and students accepted into the program are encouraged to apply. However, you won't be notified of your award until after the program has begun. So, you would have to find another way to pay for your summer semester but if selected NURSECorp would reimburse you.
Thank you! That's very helpful information
