My Christmas break begins on December 18th and I cannot wait!! I return back to school on January 2nd. That and the gender reveal party (I'm 5 months pregnant) that I'm throwing on Saturday is what is going to get me through this work week.
When do you guys/gals go on break? What do you do during the break to occupy your days? Started this job back in September and it is my first school nurse position so I haven't had the luxury of getting two weeks off paid and it not be PTO because I was going on vacation lol
I'm still here! Saw more than 50 yesterday on our short day which is a lot but I am so ready for break that I didn't even realize how many until the day was already over!
Fingers crossed for all of us who are still around that Friday will come quickly and end smoothly
The bell rings at 3:30, I'm supposed to stay until 4. I may slip out early. I really hope none of the kids decided that they need to do anything silly that afternoon. My patience is fried this week.

Me! 2.5 hours left today... tomorrow is allegedly a full day but the nurses' meeting/holiday party starts around 1230 and I'm almost certain we will be released early. The students have a 3 hour day tomorrow (useless). Thank goodness my kids are old enough to head home after school and I don't have to arrange child care to be there for them until I get off.
One more sleep.....
I think of in terms of one more WAKE UP! That's the hard part for me!

Tomarrow at 2pm we are dismissed and I can't wait!!!! It's a fun day/party day, so should be slow in here too. And lots of goodies passed around to munch on!
