4.0 Challenge!

Hello everyone! I'm a pre-Nursing student with two semesters of pre-reqs to do before I can apply to the Nursing Program at my University. Who wants to start a support thread and help motivate each other? We can list our classes for the fall and report back with updates/venting/encouraging as needed. I'll start:

A&P I with Lab

Fundamentals of Organic & Biochem with Lab

Nursing 110 (a survey introductory course at my school serving as an overview of Nursing)

Sociology 105

I'd love to hear what everyone is taking! Good luck, you can do this!

:specs::)

Hi! I'm taking microbiology, college algebra and psychology this semester. Before applying to the nursing program I have to take chemistry, a&p1 and a&p2. Best of luck this semester :-)

Hello, all! I am taking Microbiology, Logic & Critical Thinking, Art Appreciation, World Religions, and Anthropology. I am hoping to make A's in all, but I am sure I will be overwhelmed at times! Having a support group is a great idea! :)

I'm taking a&p2, micro, math and an LNA course. I just mapped out my weekly schedule using the article on this site about getting As in all your classes... I'm going to be a busy bee and I didn't even factor in my volunteer hours because I still have to find out what they are. Last semester of prereqs before applying by December 1st! I accept the 4.0 challenge!

I'm taking

ITE115---Intro to computers (required for all freshman)

SDV 100----college success skills (required)

SOC 200---sociology

ENG 111----English

MTE 1------

---------------since I sucked on the vpt, I'll be taking these math classes

MTE 2------

The math courses are only 4 wks each. So is SDV. it won't be a full schedule until October/November. I'm gonna need "the force" to be with me then. Especially since my two oldest are in school as well (2nd grade and headstart). Plenty late night's and early mornings.

Classes start tomorrow. I accept the 4.0 challenge!!!!!

Finally a nurse...All for my three♡♡♡

I am taking A&P I and college algebra this semester

A&P II and Micro next semester....I can apply to one of the nursing programs that I am applying to this spring and with ANY luck be accepted in the fall class....that is the ideal situation!

Yes, this is a great idea. Getting a 4.0 will be a challenge but I'm sure we all can do it! I This is the last semester of pre-reqs that will go on my transcript before I apply to nursing school at my university. I'm taking:

KINS 2531/2511 -- A&P I/Lab

CHFD 2137 -- Lifespan Development

ECON 2105 -- Economics

HIST 1112 -- World History

Great idea! I am taking:

Anatomy

Psych

Socio

Comm/speech

Human development

I've got:

Chemistry w/lab

Women & Gender Studies

Physiology

Nutrition

Way to go with your preparation, especially with such a full load. So you are able to apply to the nursing program of your choice while your science pre-reqs are in progress?
