Hello everyone! I'm a pre-Nursing student with two semesters of pre-reqs to do before I can apply to the Nursing Program at my University. Who wants to start a support thread and help motivate each other? We can list our classes for the fall and report back with updates/venting/encouraging as needed. I'll start:
A&P I with Lab
Fundamentals of Organic & Biochem with Lab
Nursing 110 (a survey introductory course at my school serving as an overview of Nursing)
Sociology 105
I'd love to hear what everyone is taking! Good luck, you can do this!
:)
Hi! I'm new to AllNurses! So cannot WAIT to register for my fall classes. Right now I'm in Medical Terminology (recomended, no required) and General Psychology.
Fall 2014:
A&P I
General Chemistry
Spring 2015:
A&P II
Microbiology
At that point I'm applying for the nursing program (June 2015). This is for my ADN, so as I'm waiting for the program to start I'll take Elementary Statistics for the Behavioral and Social Sciences (Statistics Prereq) for the ADN to BSN program.
I was also thinking of taking the Psychology Ethics of Living & Dying, it isn't a prerequisite, but I may speak with other graduates from my school incase that is covered in the ADN program under another course.
Ok so the semester is almost over but here it goes. Well, first some background info. I'm 24 and just starting my college journey. I'm married and my husband is supporting us while I'm in school so school is my only job. So a 4.0 is mandatory. Last semester I took mathematical modeling, American government, English 1101, chemistry 1 and lab, and spoken communications. I had a 4.0. This semester I'm taking chemistry 2 and lab, statistics, critical thinking, music appreciation, and English 1102. So far I have a 4.0! The semester is almost over so I think I should complete it with a 4.0! We shall see!
