  1. Thanks for the info! Congrats on your upcoming graduation! If you have any words of wisdom or advice, please feel free to share!
  2. I believe he teaches the 4th, 5th, and 6th semesters and then the final semester is a different instructor
  3. I know she won't be teaching the second year. I'm curious though if he teaches the entire second year because I've seen other instructor names... Guess we'll find out.
  4. Started nursing classes yesterday evening and I already like the instructors for the first year. I was wondering though: for NUR105 there is a guy instructor that takes over... Does anyone know if he will be the instructor for the rest of the program, or just NUR105?
  5. After reading through all of posts in this thread, I must say that I agree with many points; notably that you are spending too much time worrying if you will fail or not. Please allow me to present my opinion as follows: the important question, as apposed to whether or not you might fail, is whether or not you are willing to put "all you've got" into your studies and the fulfillment of your dream. The majority of us have been given, by God, a level of intelligence and you are no different. Of course some have to work harder than others but, so what! Remember, fear has killed more dreams than failure ever will! If you TRULY want it, you will obtain it! Believe in yourself!
  6. Thanks for the info LCP! I know I'll get all this info in a couple of weeks but I figured I'd go ahead and ask in case I should be getting insurance now.
  7. Oh that's great! OK another question: when do we have to show proof of health insurance? Before we start clinicals or before we start the actual program?
  8. I'm curious about clinicals during the night weekend program... I am thinking about taking a new position here at UAB working third shift 11-7 but i'm concerned that this shift might interfere with clinicals. Are the clinicals only on the weekends or are they also during the week and if so, are they later than 10:00pm?
  9. That's great! I looked back at last fall's schedule and it shows the lab on Sat from 8-11 (health assessment). Did they change it starting this year?
  10. I was just looking at the schedule for the first semester and I originally thought that I would be going to class on Sat from 8-11 but now it is showing tues and thurs 5:30-8:30... can anyone tell me if we have class/lab on Sat the first semester?
  11. Background check already back; all clear shewwww! Lol
  12. Orientation that is, not registration
