Cedars-Sinai New Grad Program???

The other day I was on the cedars-sinai website looking at jobs when I noticed they had posted a new grad program job listing. I applied and received an e-mail confirming my application. I went on today to check my status and it said I never applied to the job... then when I checked for the listing, it was also gone! Does anyone know what happened? Did they cancel the program or something?

I'm slightly confused...

I had my interview last week and the recruiter told me they will have the open house on may 21. Did that mean I go through to the next round if he mentioned it to me? or do we have to wait for an email or a call? thanks. I remember he said they will let people know by second week of May who will attend.. I guess i answered my own question..

i'm so confused...so does this mean that the rest of us that got the original email that told us we'd be getting a phone interview/in-person interview but haven't heard anything since, are now out of contention?

I'm assuming those of you who had your interviews were local candidates. did anyone who was going to be scheduling a phone interview actually have a phone interview? so frustrating. :(

yes they said they would let you know if you made it for the open house thing on the 21st idk its like an second interview i guess. like the second week of may i think they would let you know..... im def not local. im opposite coasts..so i really don't know how they schedule interview.

A friend of mine lives out of the area and she had her phone interview a couple of weeks ago.

A friend of mine got an email yesterday that mentioned an open house in May for round two. I didn't get anything. Anyone else get this email?

Wow! Your friend already got a response for round 2? I was told they would let us know around May 10 - May 25th to see whether or not we move on to round 2. I guess we will see in a couple of weeks...

My friend got an email asking him again for his GPA. The email also mentioned the open house in May. I don't think his email said more than that. I'm still holding out hope for a second interview.

I received an email confirmation of my phone interview for tomorrow morning. I live in Nor-Cal. In the email it didnt give dates about the May forum everyone is talking about but it did say that you would be required to bring your portfolio if selected to move to the 2nd phase.

I am scheduled for a phone interview tomorrow for the first-phase. Can anyone who went through the interview give me advice/tips on what to prepare for? I was kind of blind-sided because they scheduled it for tomorrow and I have been waiting for the email for phone interview confirmation for a month and just received a confirmation today for an interview tomorrow at noon! :)

i'm glad people are still hearing back regarding the phone interviews! i was starting to get worried that they had finished them all!
