I just realized I forgot to answer your question as well. I am applying to a position in the ER, but I believe they are also going to have all the new grads start in med/surg units as well. Oh wow, the pay is actually different for the different degrees? Have you already completed the new grad training? Or will you be starting the new grad classes and orientation with the July hires? Once again, thank you for sharing this information.

Congrats on your acceptance into the new grad program in February!! I have already completed the first-phase interview and will be moving onto the second-phase interview tomorrow (May 21st). I have been following a couple of different forums and this particular interview session appears to be different because several people have interviews at the same time. I don't really know what to expect because the first interview asked many of those general interview questions, so I don't know what will be asked during this second phase. Will it be a lot of patient-scenario questions? medication questions? Thank you so much for you quick response! I appreciate it very much =]

Does anyone know what type of questions will be asked? For those of you who were accepted into the new grad program last year, did you all get into the specialty of your choice?? What was the starting pay as a new grad and any nights and weekends differentials? Thanks!!

Hi everyone, When I called St. Jude's HR, they did not give me much information. I got the sense that they did not appreciate the call, but I'm sure they get many phone calls so it must get annoying. She did not say whether it will be a phone call or an e-mail, but she said we will be "notified" on May 15. I'm not sure how that will work out on a Saturday, but we will say. In the mean time, make sure your cell phones have adequate battery life and keep checking your e-mails! As of 1:42pm, I have not gotten a response!! Good luck everyone!

Yeah, I called HR this morning but I did not get too much information because they didn't seem too happy that I was calling about my application. The lady I spoke with just briefly told me that we would hear back from them on May 15. Hope that helps! Good luck on the job search misstiff!

hi misstiff, when did you get that e-mail? I thought it was strange when I called HR and they said they would contact us on May 15, since it is a Saturday.

Does anyone know anything about the 2nd phase in the interview process? Some have been saying it's an open house while I've heard others say it's an interview with managers... Can anyone clarify? Good luck to everyone on May 10th!

Hi, how did your interview go? Did you interview for a new grad position? This location is really nice. I come to this area often and it seems pretty safe to me; I have never felt scared in this area. It is close to Yorba Linda and Fullerton is a really nice area with great schools. The hospital is also very nice. I recently went there to visit a friend who was in the hospital and it is newly remodeled.

I believe their website said we would hear something back by May 15th. I know that they kept their new grad application open from April 1 - 30, so they must have a lot of applicants to sort through. I have not heard anything from St. Jude's yet... I am also wondering if others have heard back yet. good luck with your job hunting! =]

Wow! Your friend already got a response for round 2? I was told they would let us know around May 10 - May 25th to see whether or not we move on to round 2. I guess we will see in a couple of weeks...
