Cedars-Sinai New Grad Program???

The other day I was on the cedars-sinai website looking at jobs when I noticed they had posted a new grad program job listing. I applied and received an e-mail confirming my application. I went on today to check my status and it said I never applied to the job... then when I checked for the listing, it was also gone! Does anyone know what happened? Did they cancel the program or something?

I'm slightly confused...

for those of you who are from the East coast how are you guys going about getting you Cali licence? I was just wondering how I would go about doing this if I get a job offer to!! Thanks

I'm giving up my job offer at Cedars. I got hired by UCSD Medical Center and I can stay close to home! I hope that that this position will be given to someone else.

So I got the call today!!! So excited seems like there are at least two start dates because I will be starting July 26!!! So excited working with you all! any one else starting the 26?

has anyone who is relocating to LA find a place to stay yet? if so could you private message me with some places? I am in LA till Sunday looking at places but am having a hard time finding a good place to live! thanks in advance for any help!!!

I'm from here in LA and will be starting the program soon...there are some areas that are not exactly around Cedars Sinai but are close enough to commute. Living close to Cedars is so expensive, so if you need cities to look at, you can look at Glendale, Burbank, Eagle Rock, or Pasadena. I take the side streets from Eagle Rock to go to work (I currently work at Cedars) and it takes me about 40 mins with minimal traffic and an hour if there's traffic.

I hope you find a good place to live in... If you want to have an idea how much are rents in these areas, you can check Craigslist.com. I live in a 1 bed/1 bath apt and pays $1020 a month...

Maybe you all can shed some light on the situation. Obviously, a lot of you have received calls so congratulations for your accomplishment. I went through the whole 2nd interview process, but have not received a call or e-mail notifying me either way. Have they accepted everyone for the program or do I still have hope? Still crossing my fingers. Again, congrats to all that have been accepted.

HI all! I am not totally sure on where I will be living when I move out to Cali But I am starting to think about getting a roommate since all the apartments near Cedars are so expensive! I know it will be hard for me to find a roommate due to the fact that I have a 6 month old lab puppy! She is house trained and will be a small lab since she is not a pure breed, if any one is interested in sharing an apartment with me and my puppy just contact (PM) me! Thanks cant wait to meet you all in a few weeks!
