Cedars-Sinai New Grad Program???

Published

The other day I was on the cedars-sinai website looking at jobs when I noticed they had posted a new grad program job listing. I applied and received an e-mail confirming my application. I went on today to check my status and it said I never applied to the job... then when I checked for the listing, it was also gone! Does anyone know what happened? Did they cancel the program or something?

I'm slightly confused...

Does anyone have an idea on how the setting is? to my surprise, I also got an invite...I'm not as confident as I was before I got tons of rejection so I don't think I can sleep anymore. This would be my first chance for an RN job...

Good luck to all of us

great to know that they're still sending out emails for phone interviews. i replied back to get a phone interview but never heard from them. guess they're still going through the applicants. i just thought i never made it even though i met their gpa requirement.

I got the 2nd interview also.. and I'm from nor-cal.. it's so expensive for flights.. i'm freaking out about how I'm gonna pay for this! congrats to those who also got the 2nd interview!!

Alright, so i'm a little confused..

I received my confirmation email regarding my phone interview...and when it lists the interview information it gives the date, time, person, and ADDRESS???

I thought this was a phone interview...but now i'm confused.

the ironic thing is, I have another interview at another hospital on the same day one hour later...so if it is an in-person interview I won't be able to do that because I've already committed to this other interview. If it's a phone interview I suppose I could do it in my car in the parking lot of the other hospital before my 2nd interview begins...I hope that all makes sense to you guys...

Those of you who had phone interviews, how long did they last?

I had a phone interview last Friday and it lasted roughly 10 mins. Just found out this Wednesday, I got the 2nd interview

Phone interview was a disaster. The connection was horrible (no idea why. I was on a land line.) so I had to keep asking the recruiter to repeat the questions. I answered everything well, IMO, but I have one of those vibes that I BOMBED it. O well - there will be more opportunities...

me too a second round...altho LA is quite expensive from d.c...so we'll see.

also what is the best airport to fly into to get to cedars sinai? i was assuming LAX but its burbank doable as well?

Got the email to come in for the round 2 interview :)

not yet sure if i want to drive or fly from norcal...i wish flights were cheaper ..

Try Southwest, Virgin America, or JetBlue? They usually have the cheapest rates.

LOL. Despite the (what I though was a) disaster phone interview, I made it! See you guys Friday! :) Next step: find a flight and whatnot from up North...

Anyone know how many applicants made it through?

One of the requirements for the CS portfolio is "community service certificates." Do they want letters from volunteer coordinators stating # of hours and job responsibilities like we had to turn in in high school? If that's not it, what do they mean?
