CCBC, Fall 2011 Applicants =)

Hello Everyone,

Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.

For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).

Mine is Thursday...looking forward to being in the know for once!

Question about dosage. I am having trouble registering for the web based dosage course CRN 60626 -keep getting error message about course status being "out of range for term". That's the only one I can do because of the evening test times. Anyone else get this and solve the problem? Thanks! I emailed records and registration and am waiting for a response.

All1872 - are you registering for the second summer session for Dosage? I had this issue as well, so I ended up registering for the 1st session. Since we have orientation this Thursday, I'm assuming that you will be able to register for NURN 153 and dosage at the same time!

For all the Evening/Weekend at Essex students-

If you are following this forum, you are likely as excited as I (and others) are about getting started!!

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at orientation and starting to get to know you. I am going to bring a sign-up sheet to orientation to get everyone's email address (especially those not following this forum) because I would like to try to coordinate a cookout before school starts so we can start "bonding"!! :) It will be a great opportunity to relax before our first semester kicks off.

Sleeping Beauty...how generous! I too am super excited! I am starting to read the Dosage text/work book and getting ready. I intend to take the test ONCE!

Thanks sleepingbeauty. I think the module had an error in it. I found a really helpful registration supervisor who took care of it for me so I am now registered for the second session Dosage. I don't want to take the June class I because I am enrolled in Nutrition and it is taking up all my time! It is a really cool class but now wish I had a break.

A cookout sounds great...so nice to offer to coordinate.

Also, there is the Facebook page that was started for the E/W class of 2013. I would put the link in but I am at work and cannot get to it here! Guess they don't trust us!

LOL I actually started the E/W page on facebook... my real name is Christen :) here is the link to the facebook page... once we know who everyone is, we will have to have a e/w group to do mass communications (help, homework, extra practice, issues, etc)

ALL1872 - I called Essex records and registration and they had to sign me up over the phone since i kept getting the same error message for that class.

Hey Everyone, I thought I would share...Although I wasn't accepted for the RN program, I am accepted for the LPN program. I am soooo excited to get my foot in the door! Also, I found out today my job hires LPNs on one of their units.
