CCBC, Fall 2011 Applicants =)

Hello Everyone,

Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.

For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).

What titres did you have done? I am in online at Catonsville and I called to find out and they basically told me to wait until orientation to get the health form.

Has anyone bought their fundamentals of nursing book bundle yet? If you have, can you please post where you got it and the price? I ordered mine from Barnes and Noble, they messed up the order (only sent me 1 of the 5 books), and are giving me issues about replacing it! I never have these problems with Amazon.

I personally emailed Doug a week or so ago asking if he was teaching A&P II anytime soon, and his reply was "no". I wrote him back to tell him that things must have changed since I saw he was teaching this summer and his reply was "not to my knowledge!". He wrote back again stating that it was a MISTAKE, and he is NOT teaching A&P II this summer!

So, unless he is "fibbing", there are going to be a whole heck of a lot of upset students this summer!!

I just checked SIMON, and Meise's name no longer appears as the instructor...it is now Hughes. So, evidently, Doug was telling the truth :)

RNVegan - we have to have mumps, measles, rubella, varicella, HepB (there is a waiver to sign but the titres have to be run) and proof of current tetorifice. There is a brief health form that has to be completed by a PA, NP, or MD. Nothing major.

I just got my book and I'm not sure what to do yet.. anyone?

It could be potentially to find cheaper individually; however, I cannot find the skills videos separately!

Is anyone else excited about orientation this week??? Those of you who have it first (Catonsville, maybe?) Can you please post any info they give you? Mine isn't until Thursday!
