CCBC, Fall 2011 Applicants =)

i am right there with ya; applied last semester and didn't get in. this semester am applying for ccbc, maryland, and harford. there is a fall 2011 ccbc thread someone else started about a month ago- I think it is titled ccbc fall petitioners. so you could post there too if you want; there are a few people that have posted and are in the same boat as you and I.

Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.

For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).

I recall you saying you were taking the Teas again this past Saturday, did you get your results yet? I did also at the Dundalk campus, however the results are still not posted.

no, i have not gotten my results and it is driving me crazy! normally j. williams is the proctor for dundalk; since she is out on leave, we had someone else proctor the exam. j.w. faxes the exams and well as mail them. this time they just mailed them; that is why it is taking so long.

i sure hope we get our results soon. i think it is ridiculous to have to wait this long!

ohhhhh... that is interesting... ok.. i had taken it essex the last time, so the results were posted within 3 days. i didn't know the proctors' were responsible for mailing them. ok. thanks for the info. i was getting worried. i actually called ati yesterday, and they said they had not even received the test yet from the school. so, i was going to call the school on monday, this is definitely ridiculous.

Nabisd, I too received my results within 3 days the last time I took it.

Just curious- did anyone send in letters of reccommendation? (I know it's not required, but wondering if anyone did anyway?)

I miss you too! How is it going so far? Do you like it? How is Essex?

I was told any letters of recommendation would be thrown away and not taken into consideration what so ever. I wish they did use them in the selection process.

Hey everyone! Thanks for starting a new thread for the Fall Admission.

I am applying for the Essex evening program and have already sent in my application. I tried to weed my way through all the previous posts to see when applicants usually get notified of admission or rejection, but I am still not sure. Oce you submit your application it is a bit wierd...just kindof waiting...waiting....waiting.....

welcome! ccbc sends out a pink card saying, "your application is under review and you will be notified about decisions around mid-may." i applied for this spring and did not make the cut. the wait is a killer. good luck to you.
